How to Arrive in Venice Italy - Getting to Venice
By plane
Venice has two international airports: Marco Polo airport situated in Tessera and San Giuseppe airport located in Treviso.
By car
Venice provides connections with many other important Italian cities.
The A4 motorway (Milan-Venice) is an arterial road to reach the North East of France, the A27 (direction Belluno) provides a link with the North of Italy and the A13 is a main junction to reach central and southern Italy.
Venice offers numerous car parks where you can leave your car even for long periods.
By train
You can easily reach Venice by train from many European and Italian cities.
Venice has two railway stations: Venezia-Santa Lucia, right in the city centre, and Venezia-Mestre, in the mainland, 15 minutes from the historical centre.
Note: don't forget to validate your ticket before to take the train!
By sea
