The
little church dating from 1228, surrounded by cypresses, has a charming
atmosphere, like all the island
of San Francesco del Deserto.
It is possible to visit the church and its wonderful gardens where, as people say, there is a tree germinated from the stick of S. Francesco d'Assisi. After a visit it is customary to give the monks a small donation.
