Venice lagoon: the Casone (Big House)
Cason (or Casone) di pesca (Fisherman house) is the operating and directional center for fishing in the different areas of the lagoon (italian Valli), generally in nineteenth-century style, and it is used to lodging of the staff who resides there for some periods.
Beside the Cason there are the warehouses for the equipments, the refrigerators and the main cavana, where are stored the boats.
The buildings are on emergent lands (Motte), constructed from the man accumulating earth (the Motte never come submergeeed from the tide).
