Fisolo island is located in the South Lagoon, at North-West of Malamocco harbour, on the Re di Fisolo Canal.
In the past, the isle was a military stronghold and powder-magazine, due to its strategic location. Until the end of the second world war, it was still used as a military site. There were some bunkers.
